Crimewatch


Petty Theft Parking permits were removed from
cars at the Rehabilitation Center on Veteran Avenue on Jan. 29.

A $200 black leather jacket was stolen from a building on
Roebling Avenue between Jan. 24 and Jan. 25.

A $180 bicycle was stolen from 654 Hilgard Ave. between Jan. 14
and Jan. 21.

Grand Theft A blue 2004 Kawasaki Ninja
motorcycle was stolen on Jan. 29.

Someone stole a Wells Fargo ATM Check card and made $8,240 worth
of purchases between Jan. 8 and Jan. 28.

A purse with $900 worth of valuables was stolen from 200 Medical
Plaza on Jan. 26.

A $1500 laptop was stolen from Slichter Hall on Jan. 26.

Two backpacks with $1,200 worth of combined valuables were
stolen from De Neve Dining Hall on Jan. 24.

A laptop worth $1,476.28 was stolen from a backpack in Young
Research Library on Jan. 23.

A backpack with valuables worth around $2,770 was stolen from
the Dental Breezeway on Jan. 21.

Miscellaneous Two people were seen drinking in
the Kinross first floor art gallery on Jan. 29. They were told not
to drink in a university building.

After allegedly stealing a purse from Kerckhoff on Jan. 28,
someone was arrested at the Ackerman Cooperage. The suspect had an
outstanding warrant.

Signs at the Melnitz loading dock were painted black between
Jan. 27 and Jan. 28.

Someone spray-painted the side of a building and stole a
“˜No Parking’ sign from 601 Gayley Avenue between Jan.
27 and Jan. 28.

Someone used stolen identification information on Jan. 26 to get
a drivers license, withdraw funds from a checking account, and get
checks from the University Credit Union.

People were allegedly assaulted with deadly weapons at 422
Landfair on Jan. 24. The weapons included a knife and a taser.

Someone was arrested after allegedly trying to cash a fraudulent
check at the University Credit Union on Jan. 23.
