The United Khmer Students at UCLA, family and friends came together Sunday night to showcase Cambodian culture with student performances, weaving together traditional folk tales and dances at the 18th annual Culture Night.

The event in Schoenberg Hall was a performance of an original 50-page play called “Thoun Chey and the Golden Fish,” which joins two popular Khmer folk tales. The play also featured martial arts as well as traditional and classical dances from Cambodia.
