Freshman center Ike Anigbogu will be out four to six weeks with a slight meniscus tear in his right knee, coach Steve Alford announced at Tuesday’s practice
Anigbogu, one of the three members of the Bruin’s fifth-ranked recruiting class with freshmen guard Lonzo Ball and forward TJ Leaf, suffered the injury last week in practice before undergoing surgery Tuesday afternoon.
Senior guard Bryce Alford also missed practice with a strained hamstring, but is expected to return to the court soon.

No. 20 UCLA, the only team in the preseason poll with a losing record last season, opens up the 2016-2017 season with an exhibition game against Master’s University on Nov. 1 and out-of-conference games against Pacific, Cal State Northridge and University of San Diego the following weeks.
