The Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers at UCLA and Theta Tau, a professional engineering fraternity, hosted the third annual IDEA Hacks this weekend. IDEA Hacks is UCLA’s first 36-hour hardware hackathon held in Ackerman Grand Ballroom. This year’s theme was sports technology, and teams were provided with 3D printers, soldering stations and other equipment to create their products.
