As of 5:56 p.m., the air quality on UCLA’s campus is once again rated as “unhealthy,” according to the UCLA Air Quality website. With an air quality index score of 164, UCLA is required to minimize outdoor work where possible.

Everyone can expect to be impacted by the poor air quality, according to the website.

Winward was the 2025-2026 editor in chief and sat ex officio on the editorial board. He was previously the 2024-2025 News editor and the 2023-2024 features and student life editor. He was also an Arts, Copy, Online, Photo, PRIME and Sports contributor. Winward was a fourth-year English and statistics and data science student.
