BelicoFest set foot in California with headliner Tito Double P at BMO Stadium on Sunday night.
For The Culture co-founders Ramiro Bojorquez and Andrés Charvel – the latter of whom is responsible for promoting some of Shakira’s Mexico performances – brought rising regional Mexican talent to the United States with the first BelicoFest in Arizona in 2024.
BelicoFest offered both floor and seated tickets to attendees on Sunday, with access to local food and cultural vendors on site. The venue featured artists from distinct musical styles that all pay homage to traditional música Mexicana style.
After its LA festival, which will take place Aug. 29, BelicoFest will be the first live music event to be hosted at San Jose’s PayPal Park.
