What a Daily Bruin staffer shoots during the school year is often determined, at least in part, by someone else – like a writer whose article needs art, or an editor who needs an event photographed.
But with summer in full swing, our photojournalists had the opportunity to document and share whatever they were already doing.
Daily Bruin Photo previously produced an annual “Disposable Stories” gallery by outfitting photojournalists with disposable cameras over spring break. The Bruin last published it in 2024.
