Photo: Academy Award nominated “Black Panther” costume designer Ruth Carter took inspiration from various tribes of Africa when creating her on-screen outfits. Carter, along with all the other nominated designers, will be present at an upcoming panel discussion on costume design, hosted by UCLA’s School of Theater, Film and Television.
