Broad cafe transforms into arcade, features student-made video games

This week, Broad Art Center’s Untitled Café will add joysticks and digital games to its menu to create the Untitled Arcade. With the addition of the arcade machines that UCLA Game Lab has installed, students have the opportunity to play video games that fellow undergraduates and graduates have designed in the past year. UCLA graduate student cultivates identity through mushroom art

In the corner of a UCLA graduate studio, mushrooms grow on a pair of jeans, a toy lizard and a knit pullover. Alumna celebrates first coming-of-age novel based on UCLA experiences

Katie Neipris said Saturday evening was dreamlike. It was the night of the UCLA alumna’s book launch party, marking the release of her new novel, “The Inconvenient Process of Falling.” Kerckhoff Grand Salon was filled with balloons as Neipris’ family and friends celebrated her first book with a photo booth, food and book signing with Neipris.
