In keeping with finals week tradition, students gathered at the intersection of Strathmore and Gayley Wednesday night to partake in the unofficial quarterly Undie Run. More than 1,000 students packed into Ackerman Grand Ballroom on Feb. 28 for the 2013 Hip Hop Explosion concert. The concert, sponsored by the Cultural Affairs Commission, opened with Rocky Diamonds and featured A$AP Rocky as the headliner. Recent Daily Bruin coverage has highlighted the existence of a mural obstructed by a false wall in Ackerman Student Union.
