Students reflect on grieving, remembering loved ones amid pandemic restrictions

COVID-19 hospital protocols prevented Jazmine Gallardo from giving her uncle a final goodbye before his death in September. Chang, an electrical engineering professor, is one of many Asian American professors who are unsettled by the rising Asian hate crimes and concerned about both their own safety and the safety of their families.
