Students spent their Saturday exploring historical and cultural sites in Downtown Los Angeles on the first Diverse City Tour of the year. Nearly 1,000 elementary and middle students in Los Angeles were arrested at school between 2014 and 2017, a UCLA report found. The report was released by Million Dollar Hoods, a project founded by Kelly Lytle Hernandez, a professor of history and African American studies. Read more...
