3 UCPD officers injured while arresting man in UCLA Anderson School of Management

Three UCPD officers were treated for minor injuries after arresting a man inside the UCLA Anderson School of Management on Tuesday. Police responded to a community service officer’s report of a man refusing to leave the building around 12:45 p.m., said Scott Scheffler, the captain of UCPD’s operations and administrative bureaus, in an emailed statement. Man with active warrant for illegal weapon possession arrested at Wooden Center

UCPD arrested a man who had an arrest warrant for allegedly possessing an illegal firearm in the John Wooden Center on Sunday around 12:20 p.m. Multiple police cars were parked outside the building around 11:30 a.m., and officers escorted a man from the center’s outdoor courtyard to the exit around 12:15 p.m. Read more...
