History advisor Paul Padilla remembered for kindness, dedication

Khristopher Go faced food insecurity while studying psychology at UCLA. Go met undergraduate history advisor Paul Padilla as a work-study student in the history department. Padilla noticed Go’s struggle and made sure to always refill a candy jar with snacks and treats so Go would not be completely hungry at the end of the day, Go, now the coordinator of UCLA’s history department, said. A man allegedly committed battery against a student at Hedrick Hall on Wednesday, according to a crime alert. University police are searching for a man that allegedly yelled at and punched the student in the head and face as he was studying Wednesday at around 12:45 p.m. Read more...
