On-campus coupons for students with meal plans increase in value by $1

Students with meal plans can now save an extra dollar with meal coupons for on-campus restaurants. The Associated Students UCLA announced Oct. 5 that UCLA Dining Services has increased the value of dorm coupons by $1, bringing the value up to $3.45 from $2.45. Read more...

Founders of tortilla company hope to eventually sell food to UCLA Dining

Ronald Alcazar spent years honing his family’s tortilla recipe with his mother for he and his brother’s new tortilla company. Today, the two UCLA alumni have their own tortilla factory and hope to sell their tortillas to UCLA Dining Services. Read more...

New UCLA Library program will begin digitizing cultural items for preservation

A new conservation initiative at UCLA Library will help digitize at-risk cultural items and share them on a UCLA-hosted website. UCLA Library announced Oct. 9 the creation of Documenting Global Voices, a program that aims to preserve endangered symbolic materials of cultures. Read more...
