Muslim Student Association calls for larger prayer spaces for students

Muslim students are continuing to pray at an outdoor loading area due to the lack of private prayer spaces on campus. The Muslim Student Association currently holds its general Muslim prayers at the loading area behind Kerckhoff Hall, a public space that is often disrupted by foot traffic and heavy construction activities related to the renovations in Ackerman Union. Photo: The 38th annual Vietnamese Culture Night took place Monday in Royce Hall and was themed “Time in Tides.” The event, which was hosted by the Vietnamese Student Union, featured a theatrical production and a mix of dance and musical performances by student groups such as AweChords A Capella and VSU Modern. UCLA to refine 2018 Strategic Plan based on task forces, student feedback
