UCLA chemistry professor appointed dean of Division of Physical Sciences

UCLA officials appointed a chemistry professor as dean of the UCLA Division of Physical Sciences Tuesday. Miguel Garcia-Garibay, who has been a UCLA faculty member for more than 20 years and is chair of the department of chemistry and biochemistry, will assume the position on July 1. Read more...

Memorial contents transferred, UCLA establishes Klug Family Support Fund

UCLA faculty, staff and students picked up notes and flowers from professor William Klug’s memorial Tuesday, to give to Klug’s wife and their two children. Assistant Vice Chancellor of Campus Life Mick Deluca, the undergraduate student government External Vice President Rafi Sands and several others volunteered to transfer the memorial’s contents from the Bruin Bear to Klug’s home.
