UCLA grant funds student-run community enrichment projects

Kareem Elzein said a lack of funding and proper resources are key disadvantages of social justice projects. Tanner Walters appointed as 2016-2017 editor in chief

The UCLA Communications Board appointed an assistant Sports editor to be the Daily Bruin’s next editor in chief in a meeting Monday night. USAC calculator loan program aims to ease financial concerns

An undergraduate student government office is creating a calculator loan program that will launch later this week. Ruhi Patil, USAC Financial Support commissioner, organized the initiative, which aims to lend calculators to students who cannot afford to buy their own. Read more...
