CAPS reduces free visits per year from 10 to six

Beginning this fall, UCLA Counseling and Psychological Services, or CAPS, will only offer six free visits per academic year, compared to last year’s 10. Dr. Nicole Green, interim executive director, said CAPS decided to reduce the number of sessions because national statistics show the majority of students only seek four or five sessions per year. USAC to create ad-hoc committee to ensure budget transparency

The undergraduate student government unanimously voted Tuesday to create a temporary committee that will research how to provide students with more information on councilmembers’ budgets. Academic Affairs Commissioner Trent Kajikawa suggested three weeks ago councilmembers provide public line-by-line budget expenses at a council meeting because the only way students can currently access a commission’s budget is through Student Government Accounting, which is in charge of processing student government expenses. HBO goes free for students living in UCLA housing

The magical kingdom of Westeros and corrupt boardwalks of Atlantic City are now more accessible for UCLA students. The UCLA Student Technology Center announced Friday in an email that students living in UCLA housing will now have access to their own HBO GO and MAX GO accounts, without additional charge.
