33-year-old man arrested after he allegedly peered into Hill resident’s window

University police arrested a man Friday evening after he allegedly looked through a female student’s Courtside residence window, according to a UCPD press release Tuesday. Ivan Andrew Diamond, a 33-year-old Los Angeles resident, was charged with Peeking Into an Inhabited Dwelling and Providing False Identification after being arrested Friday evening, according to the press release. UCPD arrests 2 individuals in connection to recent Westwood burglaries

University police arrested two people Tuesday in connection with several Westwood burglaries. Cierra Marie Bartholomew, 28, and Adrian Givens, 46, were arrested early Tuesday morning and charged with burglary, possession of stolen property, possession of burglary tools and being felons in possession of firearms and ammunition, according to a Thursday press release from the UCPD. UCLA researcher charged with destroying evidence related to federal investigation

A visiting UCLA researcher was charged with destroying evidence to obstruct an FBI investigation, the U.S. Department of Justice announced Friday. Guan Lei, a visiting researcher from China who studied mathematics, allegedly destroyed a computer hard drive while he was under an FBI investigation, according to an affidavit written by FBI special agent Timothy Hurt, who investigated Lei beginning in July.
