On Friday, an L.A. couple pleaded no contest to charges in connection with a hit-and-run that killed a UCLA alumnus in 2013, officials said. A nurse at the Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center was found dead in her Long Beach home Wednesday, police said in a press release. Paramedics found nurse Sayuri Jean Griffin, 57, and her husband, Salvador Trujillo, 57, in their home at about 3 p.m., according to a Long Beach Police Department press release. Read more...
