The Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors officially declared last November to be Native American Heritage Month. Supervisors Hilda Solis and Lindsey Horvath co-authored the motion, which recognizes the importance of “inclusivity, equity and reconciliation” with the county’s Native American community.
