UCLA asks judge to dismiss DOJ case alleging the university allowed antisemitism

DOJ accuses UCLA School of Law of racially discriminating in admissions processes
This post was updated Oct. 1 at 11:53 p.m. The United States Department of Justice alleged Thursday that the UCLA School of Law discriminated against white and Asian applicants in its admissions processes. The DOJ’s Civil Rights Division claimed in a Thursday letter that UCLA Law violated Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, which bars racial discrimination in programs receiving federal funding. Education Department reinstates Trump Title IX rules, rescinds LGBTQ+ protections
