USAC to consider limiting resolutions to issues of student welfare

The undergraduate student government will vote Nov. 17 to require council resolutions to pertain directly to student welfare issues. Undergraduate Students Association Council Facilities Commissioner Ian Cocroft said he proposed changes to the council’s constitutional bylaws to increase the efficiency of passing resolutions, or the council’s official stances on campus issues. Town hall meeting to discuss partnership between student organizations

As a high school teacher, Dani Smith watched students with different backgrounds build a support network that fostered an environment of greater understanding and acceptance. Smith, a graduate student in human development and psychology, said the positive outcomes of the collaboration she witnessed led her to join the board of the Diversity Caucus, an organization that intends to encourage partnerships between student organizations.
