The Westwood Village Improvement Association, also known as the BID, is a nonprofit organization tasked with improving the state of Westwood Village. UCPD releases photos of suspect in UCLA employee robbery case

University police released photos Tuesday of a man wanted for robbing a UCLA employee at a Westwood ATM earlier this month. Police said the man came up to the employee at a Bank of America machine on Westwood Boulevard, then told the employee to give him money and that he had a gun. Read more...

New LA Mobile app incorporates technology with public transportation

Westwood residents and commuters are now able to buy tickets for the Commuter Express bus system on California’s first mobile ticketing app for public transportation. The Los Angeles Department of Transportation launched the LA Mobile app, which allows bus riders to check schedules and purchase tickets for the Commuter Express and DASH bus systems, at a public event Tuesday.
