LA Metro construction closes certain lanes on Wilshire Boulevard till Sept. 20

Multiple lanes of streets around Wilshire Boulevard may be closed until Sept. 20 because of construction for the Los Angeles Metro. Westwood Village Rewards set to officially launch next month

UCPD searches for suspect reportedly involved in off-campus hot prowl burglary

University police are looking for a suspect reportedly involved in an off-campus hot prowl burglary early Friday morning.  The incident occurred in an apartment at the 11000 block of Strathmore Drive around 4:05 a.m., according to a UCPD crime alert sent Friday.  The suspect reportedly touched a sleeping resident’s “intimate body part” and fled out of the apartment’s rear entrance, according to the crime alert.  UCPD described the suspect as a white man around 25 years old with brown hair, a short beard and mustache.
