When Danny McElaney checked his BruinBill last year and saw that he had received $140 though California’s Middle Class Scholarship, he laughed. A witch hunt is underway at UCLA. Milan Chatterjee, president of the Graduate Students Association, is its victim. Chatterjee asserted GSA neutrality on the Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions, or BDS, movement – a policy adopted by a unanimous vote of the GSA Cabinet – and would not endorse the BDS movement against Israel.
