UCLA has purchased one of its largest pieces of art, the literary map “City in Mind: A Lyrical Map of the Concept of Los Angeles,” thanks to the long running Collecting Los Angeles initiative by the UCLA Special Collections, seeking out cultural documents and art found within Los Angeles’ communities.
