The UCLA club tennis team recently won its first national title at the 2011 United States Tennis Association National Campus Championships by defeating Florida 30-19 in the championship match. The club was created in 2003 and now has more than 100 members, who are divided into a competitive and general team.

This was the fourth time in five years in which the team has played in dresses to gain exposure for the sport. UCLA will travel to Minnesota for the national championships later this month.


Snowteam rides to success on campus and in competition despite lack of local snow

In a city where snow is as rare as Atlantis, and on a campus with a legacy of greatness in athletics, one of UCLA's largest club teams is also perhaps one of its more unlikely: the UCLA Snowteam.
