Bruins added to Bronko Nagurski and Outland Trophy watch lists

The representation on award watch lists continued for UCLA football Thursday, as sophomore outside linebacker Myles Jack and redshirt senior inside linebacker Eric Kendricks found their names on the Bronko Nagurski Trophy watch list, while redshirt junior center Jake Brendel was named to the Outland Trophy watch list. Bruins named to preseason football positional watch lists

As college football watch list season rounds into its second day on Tuesday, two more Bruins were chosen to their respective positions’ watch lists. Redshirt junior center Jake Brendel was named to the watch list for the Rimington Trophy, awarded to the nation’s top collegiate center. Read more...

Johnathan Franklin announces football retirement

Former UCLA and Green Bay Packers running back Johnathan Franklin announced his retirement from football Thursday. Franklin suffered a neck injury in Week 12 of the 2013-14 NFL season that initially ruled him out for the remainder of the season. Read more...
