UCLA football to don new Adidas LA Midnight alternate uniform

The traditional powder blue and gold of UCLA is now set to turn a few shades darker. UCLA’s athletic department unveiled the Adidas TECHFIT L.A. Midnight uniform, which the Bruin football team will wear on Nov. 15 in a Friday night home matchup with the Washington Huskies. Read more...

UCLA football leads Nevada 17-13 at halftime

After a slow start in UCLA’s season opener in Pasadena, the Bruins lead the Nevada Wolf Pack, 17-13 at halftime. In a game that had UCLA listed as 21-point favorites, Nevada has shown the ability to compete with last year’s Pac-12 South champions, scoring on three of five drives to draw within four points of the Bruins. Mora preps team for Nevada’s new Tampa 2 defense

UCLA and the University of Nevada - Reno will both kickoff the season looking for a fresh start after combining for a 1-5 record to close the 2012 season. No part of either team will be greener than the secondaries. Nevada is the only team of the two to return a starter to the defensive backfield, although that player, senior Charles Garrett, will be making a transition from cornerback to safety. Read more...
