Senior placekicker Tyler Gonzalez was added to the UCLA football team’s roster to fill in for injured redshirt freshman kicker Kip Smith despite having only one year of high school experience.

They usually spend their days practicing as Beavers, Cougars, Wildcats or whoever the UCLA coaching staff is scheming against that week. On the days they get to be Bruins, wide receivers Jerry Rice Jr. and Devin Lucien put on their blue and gold jerseys but take them off without breaking a sweat. Read more...

Redshirt sophomore wide receiver Jerry Rice Jr. hasn’t seen any snaps this season thus far, but with the depleted wide receiver corps caused by suspensions after the brawl with Arizona, he will see playing time against Cal this weekend at the homecoming game.

Redshirt junior punter Jeff Locke, seen here in the game against San Jose State, collected signatures for the NCPA petition from members of the football and men’s basketball teams here and from other schools around the country. Locke collected more than 300 signatures in total in support of the petition.
