Men’s basketball struggles to find consistency in recent play

Subpar guard play dooms UCLA basketball against USC

As UCLA’s guard play goes, so goes UCLA. That fact is becoming increasingly evident five games into the Bruins’ Pac-12 schedule. Alford earns Pac-12 Player of the Week after clinching sweep of Arizona teams

Junior guard Bryce Alford was named the Pac-12 Player of the Week for the first time in his career Monday. The honor came two days after Alford and UCLA capped a successful series sweep of the Arizona schools, evening the Bruins’ conference record to 2-2 after an 0-2 start. Read more...
