UCLA men’s basketball overpowers Chattanooga, 106-65

With just a couple minutes gone in the second half, Norman Powell dribbled up the baseline full speed ahead. By the time he realized there was a Chattanooga defender with his shoulders squared standing just outside the key, it was too late. The sophomore guard rose up and threw down a powerful right arm. UCLA defeated Chattanooga 106-65 on Sunday night in its highest-scoring affair since December 23, 2008, and from about the sixth minute onward, it was a laugher filled with high-flying dunks from Powell and fellow height enthusiasts like freshman guard Zach LaVine. Bruins reach milestones in 81-70 win against Eagles

On one play, two Bruins set milestones. Curling around a screen, sophomore guard Jordan Adams grabbed a pass from sophomore guard/forward Kyle Anderson, took a few steps to the rim and laid the ball in off the glass. The bucket gave Adams his 28th point of the night - a new career high - and gave Anderson his 10th assist of the game, giving him his first career triple double. Read more...
