UCLA men’s basketball defeats Arizona State in overtime victory

This post was updated Jan. 7 at 11:03 p.m. Cody Riley turned it on in overtime. The redshirt junior forward already put up a 14-point, 11-rebound double-double in regulation, but his 8 points and two blocks in the extra period led the Bruins and helped them escape Tempe with the win. Read more...

Men’s basketball prepares for Arizona road trip following postponements, injuries

The Bruins will again try to begin their road conference games. UCLA men’s basketball (7-2, 3-0 Pac-12) is headed to the Grand Canyon State to face Arizona State (4-3, 1-0) and Arizona (9-1, 3-1) on Thursday and Saturday, respectively. Read more...

Men’s basketball beats Colorado in 1st matchup of new year

Though the Bruins welcomed the new year with a win, it hardly came with a bang.  After clinching the victory against the visiting Utes in the closing minutes of regulation Thursday, UCLA men’s basketball (7-2, 3-0 Pac-12) went 2-0 over the New Year’s weekend, defeating Colorado (7-3, 1-2) 65-62 for its third conference win of the season. UCLA men’s basketball’s Chris Smith is out for the season with torn ACL

Eight games into the season, the Bruins are losing their leading scorer from a year ago. UCLA men’s basketball’s (6-2, 2-0 Pac-12) Chris Smith has a torn ACL in his left knee, according to a press release from the program. Read more...
