Men’s basketball begins conference play with 20-point victory over California

This post was last updated Dec. 6 at 11:58 p.m. Just over a week ago against Pepperdine, it took UCLA three overtime periods to build a winning lead over the Waves.  The Bruins’ matchup with the visiting Seattle Redhawks on Thursday was not as dramatic, yet it still took UCLA until the end of the first half to build a lead.  Neither of those two scenarios were true Sunday night. Men’s basketball secures victory over Seattle in home opener

Men’s basketball looks ahead to home, conference openers

After a slight hiccup, the Bruins will be back on the hardwood and competing in conference play. UCLA men’s basketball (1-1) is hosting Seattle (3-1) and California (2-1) on Thursday and Sunday, respectively, with the former being the Bruin’s home opener and the latter being the team’s first game of the 2020-2021 Pac-12 campaign.
