Men’s tennis’ Karue Sell falls in final of So Cal Intercollegiate

Tournament presents men’s tennis with experience against top programs

The UCLA men’s tennis team looks to gain some valuable match experience during this week’s 59th Annual Southern California Intercollegiate Championships. No. 5 seed sophomore Austin Rapp and junior Joseph Di Giulio said they hoped this tournament would prepare them mentally and physically for the upcoming season, especially against their crosstown rivals, the Trojans. Men’s tennis may face larger threats from Stanford, Cal than from USC

UCLA men’s tennis victorious at USTA/ITA Southwest Regionals

For the second straight year, UCLA men’s tennis claimed the singles crown at the USTA/ITA Southwest Regional Championship. Sophomore Martin Redlicki, the No. 4 seed, downed unseeded Logan Smith of USC 3-6, 6-2, 6-4 in the championship round Monday afternoon to defend a tournament title earned by junior Mackie McDonald in 2014.
