UCLA men’s tennis proceeds to Pac-12 finals after sweeping Oregon

For the second straight year, the Bruins advanced to the Pac-12 finals. No. 1 seed UCLA men’s tennis (25-2, 8-0 Pac-12) swept No. 4 seed Oregon (17-9, 4-4) in the semifinals of the Pac-12 championships on Friday, marking the team’s second consecutive sweep of the tournament. Read more...

Bruins, Trojans to face off in new episode of track and field rivalry

UCLA track and field will renew its crosstown rivalry with USC on Sunday at Drake Stadium. This is UCLA’s first and only dual meet this season, and the team is returning 10 event winners from last year’s meet against the Trojans, including redshirt junior thrower Ashlie Blake, who won the women’s discus and finished third in shot put last year. Beach volleyball defeats Utah, takes each match in straight sets

Lily Justine took care of business on the sand, but she had to switch gears quickly. The sophomore and junior Sarah Sponcil trounced the Utes 21-11, 21-7 to put the Bruins up 4-0 – just in time for Justine to take her genetics midterm. Read more...
