Men’s volleyball match against UCSB postponed due to mudslides

UCLA men’s volleyball will no longer host UC Santa Barbara on Friday night. Road closures along the 101 freeway due to mudslides created transportation issues for the Gauchos, and the Friday match has been rescheduled for March 28 at 7 p.m in Pauley Pavilion. Read more...

UCLA men’s basketball will rely on top players to challenge Utah

Entering the season, UCLA men’s basketball only had two known quantities in junior guard Aaron Holiday and senior center Thomas Welsh. The Bruins’ frontcourt depth took another hit after freshmen forwards Jalen Hill and Cody Riley were suspended for shoplifting in China, forcing redshirt sophomore Alex Olesinski into the rotation as the first frontcourt player off the bench. UCLA beach volleyball appoints Jeff Alzina as volunteer assistant coach

UCLA beach volleyball has hired Jeff Alzina as its new volunteer assistant coach. “I hope that I can be an extra set of eyes with a little bit of extra experience and maybe a different perspective that will be their push to compete for a national championship and not just be a top-five-type team but actually really attempt to win this year,” Alzina said.
