Men’s volleyball sweeps NJIT Highlanders in first game of season

UCLA men’s volleyball opened its season with a sweep over New Jersey Institute of Technology on Wednesday night. The No. 4 Bruins (1-0, 0-0 MPSF) are ranked second in the preseason MPSF Coaches’ Poll and fourth in the AVCA preseason poll, returning a number of their starters like senior outside hitter and two-time second-team AVCA All-American Jake Arnitz, senior outside hitter/libero JT Hatch and junior setter Micah Ma’a. Josh Rosen declares for NFL draft, gives up last year of eligibility

Josh Rosen announced Wednesday he will forego his final year of eligibility at UCLA to enter the 2018 NFL Draft. The junior quarterback announced his decision by posting a letter on his Instagram and Twitter accounts, thanking UCLA and his teammates. Read more...

Women’s basketball ends five-game road trip with 82-46 win against Cal

Men’s basketball overcomes halftime deficit, defeats Washington 74-53

No. 11 UCLA women’s basketball falls to Stanford 76-65 in Pac-12 opener

Trailing for the majority of the game, UCLA dropped its Pac-12 opener to conference rival Stanford, which had not beaten UCLA since March 2015. No. 11 UCLA women’s basketball (9-3, 0-1 Pac-12) was upset by Stanford (7-6, 1-0) 76-65, a team that sits outside the AP top-25 poll for the first time since 2001. Read more...

Men’s basketball beats Washington State, Aaron Holiday scores career high

This post was updated Dec. 29 at 11:32 p.m. Aaron Holiday was four points away from setting his single-game point record – at halftime. The junior guard matched it with his 27th point midway through the second half before slowing down and totaling 33 to lead unranked UCLA men’s basketball (10-3, 1-0 Pac-12) to a 96-82 win over Washington State (8-5, 0-1) on Friday.
