Softball’s NCAA seed hinges on final regular-season series versus ASU

UCLA softball has reached the last stop of its regular season campaign: No. 22 Arizona State. Traveling to Tempe, Arizona, for their final series, the No.10 Bruins (39-13, 13-8 Pac-12) currently are ranked fifth in the Pac-12 – out of contention for the Pac-12 title that the Sun Devils claimed last weekend. Softball builds on momentum for postseason, celebrates senior weekend

UCLA softball celebrated seniors shortstop Delaney Spaulding, outfielder Gabrielle Maurice and pitcher Paige McDuffee this past weekend during senior weekend. They did it both with a ceremony and with winning a pivotal series against Arizona, building on the successes of previous weeks and putting themselves in a better position for a higher postseason seed.
