Men’s track and field debuts top athletes at invitational

After UCLA men’s track and field soared to 12th in the national rankings last week, this weekend was meant to be a breather. The team didn’t roll out its A 4×100 relay team, sophomore sprinter Rai Benjamin, freshman jumper Isaiah Holmes in the high jump – for which he’s ranked in the top 10 nationally – or a good majority of its distance team, all of which were critical in the rankings explosion. Baseball salvages weekend against Washington with walk-off

Women’s tennis sweeps Colorado, Utah in Pac-12 weekend matchups

Make that eight straight doubles points for UCLA women’s tennis. The No. 20 Bruins (12-5, 6-1 Pac-12) haven’t dropped a doubles set – let alone lose the point – in over a month, and that trend continued Friday and Saturday when they swept both the Colorado Buffaloes (9-10, 1-7) and Utah Utes (7-8, 2-6) 4-0.
