UCLA’s defensive secondary lost a key piece on Tuesday, but gained one back as well. Coach Jim Mora announced Tuesday morning that senior and starting cornerback Fabian Moreau will miss the rest of the season because of a lisfranc injury, and he also said that redshirt junior cornerback Ishmael Adams has been reinstated to the team after serving nearly a monthlong suspension. UCLA redshirt junior cornerback Ishmael Adams will not face felony charges following his arrest for allegedly attempting to steal from an Uber driver last month. County prosecutors did not find enough evidence to file felony charges and passed the case to city prosecutors to evaluate potential misdemeanor charges, said Jane Robison, a spokeswoman for the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s office.
