In season-opening scoring storm, UCLA men’s water polo sweeps Triton Invitational

No. 3 UCLA men’s water polo (4-0) blitzed the invitational tournament in San Diego on Saturday and Sunday, defeating four Southern California-based programs to start its non-MPSF slate undefeated. New faces propel Bruins to season-opening victory

This post was updated Sept. 4 at 10:23 p.m. Dante Moore entered the game for his second drive in the beginning of the fourth quarter. The freshman quarterback had already found redshirt sophomore wide receiver J.Michael Sturdivant earlier in the second quarter for a drive-saving 39-yard completion before recording his first collegiate passing touchdown. Graduate students join the game at UCLA men’s soccer
