Freshman to recover in time for season

Incoming UCLA men’s basketball freshman Alfred Aboya underwent a successful arthroscopic procedure on his right knee last Monday. The hour-long surgery, performed by Bruin team physician Gerald Finerman, removed loose bodies from Aboya’s right knee and repaired a torn meniscus. Read more...


Bruins find 12th recruit in Stokes

The UCLA football team landed their 12th recruit of the 2006 recruiting class in defensive lineman Reggie Stokes. Stokes, a 6-foot-3, 230-pound defensive end out of Carver Senior High School (Montgomery, Ala.), joins defensive end Dylan Rush (Hawaii) as the only UCLA recruits from the 2006 class to come from outside California.
