UCLA men’s golf tees up for The Copper Cup to begin 2024 season

The Bruins will embark on a new golfing adventure in the desert. “We haven’t played a competitive style of alternate shot,” said sophomore Kyle An. “We’ve practiced it before, but we’re basically, honestly, going in kind of blind.” UCLA men’s golf is gearing up for its first tournament of the new year, in which it will switch up the style of play in a two-day event at The Copper Cup in Maricopa, Arizona. Reilyn Turner, Ally Lemos of UCLA women’s soccer selected during NWSL Draft

The NWSL has claimed two Bruins to the national ranks. Racing Louisville FC selected forward Reilyn Turner with the No. 6 overall pick Friday at the NWSL Draft, making her the first UCLA women’s soccer player to compete for the professional team. Read more...

UCLA men’s basketball crushed by Utah in second-biggest loss of all time

This post was updated Jan. 12 at 10:43 a.m.  One record in the history of UCLA and Utah matchups was broken Thursday night in Salt Lake City.  The previous record for the Bruins’ biggest loss to the Utes was shattered by 14 points as Utah outscored UCLA 57-21 in the second half en route to a 46-point win.  The loss proved the second worst in program history – two points short of tying for the largest margin of defeat.
