Men’s basketball to welcome students on court in first-ever preseason showcase

The Bruins may have played behind closed doors Saturday, but they’ll be in the spotlight come Wednesday night. UCLA men’s basketball will be hosting its first-ever preseason showcase at Pauley Pavilion on Wednesday, consisting of a 5-on-5 scrimmage and several player-versus-student events. Read more...

Women’s tennis takes titles in Bruin-dominated ITA Regional Championships

UCLA men’s golf junior Eddy Lai claims 1st collegiate victory, team lands in 5th

Eddy Lai emerged victorious for the first time as a Bruin. After sharing a tie for 22nd at even par through round one, the UCLA men’s golf junior shot 7-under over the final two days to finish with a 7-under 209 at the Golf Club of Georgia Collegiate Invitational. Read more...

Men’s tennis players concede 5 singles matches to USC at Malibu tournament

The Trojans had the Bruins’ number in Malibu. UCLA men’s tennis sent six players to compete in the ITA Regional Championships at the Ralphs-Straus Tennis Center in Malibu from Thursday through Sunday, yet no Bruin earned a spot in the final. Read more...

Women’s volleyball notches 1 win, 1 loss at games in Oregon

After dropping their first game of the weekend, the Bruins were at risk of falling to another conference foe two days later. Despite both of its opponents having losing records coming into the weekend, UCLA women’s volleyball (10-7, 5-3 Pac-12) was swept by Oregon (6-11, 2-6) on Friday night and was pushed to five sets by Oregon State (8-11, 2-6) on Sunday, before pulling out the win.
