Softball takes all five games against four schools at weekend tournament

Three Bruins join 2017 USA Softball Women’s National Team

UCLA coach, Olympic medalist celebrates softball’s return in 2020

Softball is returning to the Olympics in 2020, a move that one three-time gold medalist said was a long time coming. Lisa Fernandez, a four-time All-American pitcher who led the Bruin softball team to two NCAA championship victories, was surprised when the International Olympic Committee decided to drop softball from the games after 2008. Two Bruins help Team USA take home gold at softball world championship

A pair of UCLA softball alumnae helped team USA capture gold Sunday at the Women’s Softball World Championship in Surrey, British Columbia. Team USA took home the championship with a 7-3 win to Japan, ending the biannual tournament with an overall record of 9-0. Read more...
