Men’s track and field hopes to overcome championship dry spell in jumps

Track and field posts personal bests, top-three finishes over weekend

UCLA track and field didn’t send very many athletes to Texas, but the team made sure to send its best. Despite facing some of the fiercest competition in the country, the Bruins had 13 top-three finishes and posted many personal records at the Charlie Thomas Invitational in College Station, Texas, last weekend. Track and field takes third place overall at Columbia East-West Challenge

Less than a third of the UCLA track and field team made the trip to the Columbia East-West Challenge this weekend. But despite the lack of bodies on the track and going against stiff competition from Oregon, UCLA still locked up a third-place finish at the Armory Track and Field Center in New York. Read more...
