Senior attacker Sarah Orozco’s hat trick during Saturday’s semifinal matchup against the USC Trojans was not enough to prevent a tough loss against the cross town rivals. The number 2 ranked Bruins lost to the number 3 Trojans, 10-12 at the Aztec Aquaplex at San Diego State University.

The women’s water polo team will head to San Diego State this weekend for the NCAA Championships. UCLA will face Iona in the round of eight today, and will play Saturday and Sunday if it continues to advance.
